This is a wonderful 50s prom dress / ball gown- the lady from whom I acquired it told me that it was her mother's and that it dated to 1954. The dress was manufactured by the Perfect Junior Formal Ltd. company of Toronto and sold at Holt Renfrew and Company Limited, a Canadian boutique type department store that sells only designer and luxury fashion and wares
The sleeveless design and alluring open back add a touch of sophistication, making it perfect for dancing the night away
